Beyond retail, the mall presents the addition of IOI City Farm, an 18,000 sq ft indoor edutainment exhibition space that provides family-friendly activities to learn about plants and animals.
Designed with an “indoor farm” concept to bring the outdoor experience indoors, the new edutainment exhibition consists of three zones for visitors to interact and observe more than 70 species of plants, small cute animals and fishes.
The Plant zone, known as “Green Land”, displays aquaponics and carnivorous plants, whereas the Animal Zone, called “Little Rimba”, will be featuring adorable pets such as sugar gliders, hedgehogs, rabbits and fennec foxes. Meanwhile, the Aquatic Zone, known as “Fresh Water World”, will be showcasing large sturgeons and arapaima from the Amazon.
